Fund Raising - King's Annual Golf and Walk Event
Over the past four years, The King's Christian School has organized a Golf and Walk fund-raiser to benefit our families who qualify for financial assistance. This event, held in May, is the main fund-raiser each year for our school. The golf event this year is being held at Pine Hill Country Club on May 19, 2008 and ususally has an average attendance of 40 golfers. The Walk-A-Thon, on May 21, 2008, is being held at our Cherry Hill campus. The students are treated to a wonderful Bar-B-Que lunch as they walk around the school building raising funds for their fellow students and their families. Over the past three years we have averaged 92% student participation in this awesome event. The entire school has rallied behind this event and we have averaged $91,000 per year in total donations to King's. The funds raised have enabled 40% of our students (178 for 2007-08) receive a total of $245,000 in financial aid.
We encourage anyone (parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends of the school) to join us for two days of fun as we raise money for The King's Christian School.
