International students join The King’s Christian School family through our Global Impact program. Placed in mainstream classes, students excel academically, grow spiritually and experience American culture through friendships and Club Impact.
Excellent Academics
King’s personalized attention enables students to excel in all academic areas. We offer college prep, honors and advanced placement courses. King’s students consistently score above the national average in all subject areas on the nationally indexed Stanford Achievement Test.
King’s accepts students at all levels of English proficiency. Upon arrival, all international students take a test for English proficiency. Students needing to raise their proficiency level in English take ESL classes. In addition to ESL, King’s provides the opportunity for tutoring for the TOFFEL, SAT and ACT tests.
Spiritual Growth
All international students that attend The King’s Christian School live with Christian host families. Students attend church and youth groups where they grow spiritually in their relationship with Jesus Christ. This relationship is encouraged at school, as well. All students take Bible courses and attend chapel once a week.
American Culture
Through our Global Impact program, international students participate in art, music and sports programs in Middle and High School. Some of the sports that we offer include: soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball. The King’s Christian School is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Club Impact
Our international student club for Middle and High School students, meets every other week for a time of fellowship and fun. They meet outside of school, as well. Possible outings include field trips to places like New York City, international cookouts or visits to local restaurants.
